Amethyst House

Amethyst House provides residential Stabilization and Supportive Recovery services in a substance free environment to women who are 19 years of age and older. Amethyst House provides a safe and comfortable home like setting in a quiet residential neighbourhood within walking distance to many support services. Trained staff are on-site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and facilitate a structured program that supports women in their recovery from problematic substance use.

Amethyst House provides an environment where each woman’s dignity and worth is recognized and honoured. We believe that women are the experts in their own lives and each woman’s recovery journey is unique. Each woman has the ability to learn and make positive changes in their lives when they feel empowered and supported to do so.

Amethyst House takes a holistic approach to recovery focusing on the physical, mental, social, cultural and spiritual realms of each woman’s life.
